Consultant - American Gaming Association
American Gaming Association started with the motto of
“Building a better understanding of casino entertainment
through education and advocacy”
The American Gaming Association (AGA) opened its office
in Washington, D.C., in June 1995 with the fundamental
goal of creating a better understanding of the gaming
entertainment industry by bringing facts about the
industry to the general public, elected officials, other
decision makers and the media through education and
advocacy.
The American Gaming Association is representing the
commercial casino and entertainment industry but the mode
of operation is not as a producer but as an informer. AGA
basically addresses the federal legislative and regulatory
issues affecting its members, employees and customers.
This issues they address includes...
- · Federal law
- · Federal taxation
- · Regulatory issues
- · Travel and tourism matters
AGA has another notion which they want to propagate to
the nation’s capital as well across the country. For this
noble cause they has stared a aggressive public education
program. This program is specially designed to bring the
industry’s message to target audiences. AGA can be
regarded as leader in addressing newly emerged national
issues and in developing industry wide programs on
critical issues such as disordered and underage gambling.
The association also serves as the industry's first
national information clearinghouse, providing the media,
elected officials, other decision makers and the public
with timely, accurate gaming industry data.
