Online gambling industry is growing in a rapid rate,
the expansion is huge and uncontrollable. Most of these
online casinos are unregulated by any of the authorities
in most of the countries. They are self regulated and self
administrated. Some of them are licensed by the state
governing bodies but they play faire if only they want to
do so.
Therefore there is a genuine need of gambling
watchdog organizations. Some of the organizations which
claims to be the watchdog of these online casinos proclaim
a set of good practices for there members. Member of these
organizations varies from casinos, software vendors,
casino portals and players. This is of sure that these
organizations have some positive influence on the online
gambling industry.

This organization is called Interactive Gaming Council.
This is a non profit organization whose mission is to to
"establish fair and responsible trade guidelines and
practices that enhance consumer confidence in interactive
gaming products and services, and to serve as the
industry’s public policy advocate and information
clearinghouse"

Commission
The Gambling Commission was organized to "assure gamblers
of a closely monitored, safe on-line gaming environment".

Players Association
This association called The Online Players Association (OPA).
It was founded by some of the players in 2000 and now has
become one of the major watchdog bodies. Members of this
organization contain both players and approved casinos.
